Tim Stasinoulias is the Founder, President, and lead fiduciary financial advisor of Aegis. He utilizes his 35+ years of experience to provide financial planning and investment advisory services to individuals, families, and business owners – focusing on proven long-term financial strategies and practices to set his clients on the path to achieve their goals and realize their dreams.
Raised in a working-class Milwaukee family, Tim developed a strong foundation in discipline, personal responsibility, and community service. His father, a small business owner, and his mother, an insurance underwriter, instilled values that continue to guide his client relationships today.
After earning his degree from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, Tim initially pursued a career in law. During a period of financial market instability, he recognized the need for more transparent and client-focused financial guidance, which led him to transition into the financial services industry.
Tim is a frequent speaker for corporate, professional, and civic organizations and has contributed financial commentary on local television and retirement-focused programs. He was also a longtime columnist for Your Life Magazine, where he shared perspectives on retirement planning and financial decision-making.
He has been active in several professional and community organizations, including the Waukesha County Estate Planning Council and the Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin, and serves as Vice President of the Milwaukee Chapter of AHEPA.
Tim lives in Waukesha with his wife and enjoys time with his three children and five grandchildren. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, travel, working out, pickleball and the outdoors.
