Born and raised in a working-class Milwaukee family, Tim learned the value of hard work and community service from his parents. Tim’s father was a small business owner, and his mother was an insurance company underwriter. Both were active in their community and reinforced the importance of quality education and a good work ethic.
After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a Bachelors degree in Criminal Justice, Tim was well on track to becoming an attorney in the Metro Milwaukee area. However, amid the financial industry corruption and recession of the 1980s, Tim saw a greater need for financial services based on trust and integrity that people could rely on to safely grow and protect their assets.
Tim is a frequent speaker for numerous professional, corporate, and civic groups. He has appeared as the financial expert on a variety of local news and retirement shows and is the longtime financial columnist for Milwaukee Publication's 'Your Life Magazine.'
Tim continues his family tradition of community service as an active member and supporter of organizations including the Waukesha County Estate Planning Council, Collaborative Family Law Council of Wisconsin, Pheasants Forever, and Wisconsin Club. Tim also serves as President of the Milwaukee Chapter of AHEPA (American Hellenic Education and Progressive Association), an organization dedicated to promoting education and philanthropy throughout the world.
Tim and his wife live in Waukesha and are the proud parents of 3 children and 5 grandchildren. Tim is a wine enthusiast who loves to cook and travel, go on an occasional pheasant hunt, and spend quality time with his family and friends.
